The Burger-Burrito Is The Latest Hybrid Everyone's Talking About

The latest food mashup that has everyone talking is the Burgrito, a burger-burrito that just came to Brooklyn, courtesy of Burgrito's, a restaurant that got its start in Bethpage, Long Island. The Burgrito is made with two beef patties, American cheese, bacon, lettuce, tomato, onions, and French fries, all wrapped up in a tortilla and dressed in chipotle sauce.

Also on offer at Burgrito's are regular burgers and burritos, burrito bowls, salads, wraps, quesadillas, chili, and nachos.

If this sounds familiar, it's because Burger King made headlines last year with its Whopperito, a Whopper-burrito hybrid. But the Whopperito is no longer on the Burger King menu, so we'll have to settle for this pricier (though probably better quality) version of a meaty mashup, instead.

You can get the Burgrito at the restaurant's new location in Brooklyn's Park Slope neighborhood for $9.99. If you're vegetarian or vegan, no worries: There's also a Veg-rito on the menu that's made with a veggie burger.
