Bobby Flay Sues Furniture Company Over $19,000 'Intolerably Uncomfortable' Couch

Comfort is key, even for celebrity chef Bobby Flay, which is why he is suing furniture maker Jamie Stern Design for an "uncomfortable" couch he purchased in 2016.

According to the lawsuit, which was filed on June 8, Flay worked with the furniture company to create a leather sectional sofa for his pad in New York City. Flay dished out $19,046.35 for the couch, which was later delivered to him. However, the couch was deemed "intolerably uncomfortable to sit on for any extended period of time."

The lawsuit states that the company has breached its agreement with Flay by "delivering a sofa that was unsuitable for use."

Flay has yet to comment on the lawsuit.
