Apple Pie OREOs To Debut In 2017
The lineup of OREO flavors will reportedly expand in 2017 to include an American classic: apple pie.
According to an Instagram post by Junk Banter, the cookies will debut before Labor Day 2017, just in time for next year's holiday season.
Based on the image of the new flavor's packaging, the cookie will most likely feature two vanilla cookies with an apple pie cream in the middle.
There has been no update on which retailers will carry the coming cookie, Food Beast reported.
Nabisco has reinvented the "world's favorite cookie" by rolling out eccentric flavors of the classic cookie in the past, including banana split, birthday cake, candy corn, and watermelon, according to Food.com.
Recently, the OREO Big Crunch Bar chocolate candy bar was released, featuring a layer of OREO cookies between two layers of vanilla crème and coated in European Milka chocolate.
