For All Your Girl Scout Cookie Needs, Digital Cookie 2.0 Is Here

The Girl Scout Digital Cookie program, which launched last year, has gotten a makeover. Girl Scouts introduces Digital Cookie 2.0 for the 2016 cookie season. Version 2.0 is "a more robust, hands-on, and entertaining learning experience," according to the Girl Scouts website.

Aimed at teaching Girl Scouts key business skills, the enhanced cookie website allows girls to learn about marketing, budgeting, and resource allocation, among other business skills. On the new website, girls can set goals for selling cookies, track their progress, manage orders and inventory, learn Internet safety skills, and explore ways to help others by investing their earnings back into their communities.

With Digital Cookie, customers can seamlessly order and pay for their cookies online or through a mobile app. Girl Scouts will still have to initiate the sale, either via email, online, or in person. From there, a Girl Scout can invite customers to visit her personalized cookie website, and then have orders shipped, personally delivered, or donated to charity.

With all these options available, you'll find fewer excuses to keep from stocking up on your Girl Scout cookie favorites.
