These Tequila-Infused Gummies Are About To Make Your Summer Sweeter

Booze-ifying childhood treats is definitely a summer trend we can get behind. From alcoholic ice cream to boozy popsicles, growing up does have its advantages. And now you can buy tequila-infused gummy candies: Sugarfina, a California-based candy shop, has teamed up with tequila company Casamigos (yes, that's George Clooney's brand of 100 percent blue agave tequila), to make blanco-, reposado-, and añejo-infused candies.

You can get these ingenious gummies in "Shake your Margarita" original flavor or grapefruit sour. If you're more of a chocolate person, Sugarfina also offers a chocolate tequila cordial filled with a golden liquid center that delivers five percent ABV. Each box costs about $8.50.

Sugarfina is also the candy brand that brought you rosé gummy bears and green juice-infused gummy bears. We're just hoping they'll come out with chocolate wine cordials soon — or boozy lollipops.

Eager for these tequila treats but far from California? Not to fear: Sugarfina has dozens of locations around the country, or you can order the candy online.

We think tequila gummies seem like a better idea than deep-fried tequila, but it's ultimately hard to argue against any creative introduction of booze into food.
