Reports show that the glass pitchers have been breaking and leaking

Teavana's Tristan Glass Pitchers are being recalled after three reports of lacerations and minor burns.

If you’ve purchased a Tristan Glass Pitcher from Teavana, you might want to return it immediately.

Teavana is voluntarily recalling the pitchers after receiving 50 reports that they have been breaking or leaking, according to a press release. There have been three reports of lacerations and two minor burns.

The Tristan Glass pitchers serve as an infuser and pitcher. They’re made of borosilicate glass and have a glass handle, stainless-steel infuser, and silicone lid and base. The 64-ounce pitchers are used to steep hot or cold tea and were for sale in the United States and Canada. About 57,000 pitchers have been sold in these two countries since May 2012.

Teavana will give customers who return the pitcher a large infusion tea pitcher and a $25 Teavana gift card. Customers may request a full refund instead.
