Starbucks Adds Holiday Foods And Beverages

Starbucks rolled out a new series of holiday offerings on November 10, including mini snowman doughnuts, seasonal Teavana teas, and their Christmas Blend coffee.

Some of the newcomers were on last year's holiday menu, but the chain is also launching some new food and drink items. New this year: a Starbucks Reserve Christmas coffee, available in stores that carry the Starbucks Reserve line; a Christmas Blend Espresso Roast; Teavana Gingerbread Tea Latte, which is a black tea with gingerbread flavors; mini snowman doughnuts; and an "ugly holiday sweater" gingerbread cookie, which will be available starting December 14.

Starbucks will be unveiling a new holiday beverage called the Holiday Spice Flat White on November 30, with two Christmas Blend Espresso Roast ristretto shots, and a blend of cinnamon, sugar, ginger, nutmeg, clove, and a hint of tangerine sugar.

On November 1, Starbucks brought back  the Chestnut Praline Latte, Eggnog Latte, Peppermint Mocha, Caramel Brûlée Latte, and Gingerbread Latte.

The chain is serving their drinks in a simpler but controversial version of last year's red cups. In previous years, the cups sported snowflake patterns. This season, they're solid red, causing some Christian groups to accuse Starbucks of promulgating a "war on Christmas."
