Ketel One Launches Limited-Edition Vodka in Honor of Arnold Palmer

The brand says Palmer and Ketel One had a non-traditional sponsorship and he was never paid for his personal endorsements

Ketel One says they will donate to causes Palmer cared about, such as the Arnie's Army Charitable Foundation.

When you think of legendary golfer Arnold Palmer, you might also think of the non-alcoholic iced tea and lemonade beverage named after him, but according to Fortune, his friends and family linked him to a different drink of choice: Ketel One on the rocks with a lemon twist.

This week, to commemorate Palmer and the Arnold Palmer Invitational in Florida, the vodka brand has launched a limited-edition bottle which reads: “Dear Mr. Palmer, This one's for you.”

"For us, it is about continuing his legacy in the most respectful manner and working with his family, his daughters and his wife Kit," Carl Nolet Jr., president and CEO of Nolet Spirits, told Fortune. "His passion and love for the game of golf is similar to what we do as a 325-year-old family [in the spirits] industry."

The product is now available nationwide with a suggested retail price of $24.99 for a 750 milliliter bottle.
