Dunkin' Donuts Replaced The Iconic Coolatta With This Frozen Drink And You Can Try It For Free

You can cool your outrage over the disappearance of the ever-popular Dunkin' Donuts Coffee Coolatta. The chain has replaced your favorite warm-weather caffeinated drink with frozen coffee. Frozen coffee is blended and has more of a coffee vibe than the original Coolatta. The drink is made with coffee extract, ice, liquid cane sugar, and the dairy product of your choice. You can also add an unsweetened flavor shot of French vanilla, hazelnut, caramel, toasted almond, coconut, blueberry, or raspberry; or a sweetened flavor swirl like caramel, French vanilla, hazelnut, and mocha.

"This is the frozen beverage for people who love coffee," Chris Fuqua, senior vice president of Dunkin' Donuts, said in a statement. "Frozen Dunkin' Coffee represents an important addition to our coffee menu, and we're excited to keep our guests running with this new frozen beverage inspired by our iconic original blend coffee."

The best part of this brand-new drink? It may be debuting this week, but save your cravings for Friday, May 19, when you can score a free 3.5-ounce sample at any participating Dunkin' Donuts between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m.

Furthermore, do not despair: Fruity Coolattas are still very much on the menu.
