Dunkin' Donuts Is Adding Macchiato To Their Coffee Family

Dunkin' Donuts is adding a new espresso beverage to their coffee family — the macchiato.

Macchiatos are traditionally layered with steamed milk and a shot of espresso. They will be served hot or over ice in the ever-so-popular pumpkin flavor, along with caramel, mocha, and any other flavors. They will be available nationwide starting September 28.

But, Dunkin' Donuts is introducing this new espresso drink any other flavor.

For fall, Dunkin' has a whole line of pumpkin items available, including hot or iced pumpkin coffee and lattes, pumpkin muffins, pumpkin cheesecake squares, and pumpkin doughnuts and doughnut holes.

Dunkin's currently offers cappuccinos and lattes, and the introduction of macchiatos comes one year after the addition of dark roast coffee to their menu. On September 29 (also known as National Coffee Day), customers can celebrate the one-year anniversary of the dark roast coffee with a free medium cup of it.

What better way to ring in fall than to celebrate all things coffee?
