Budweiser Is Giving Out Free Beer To The Entire Country Of Wales

It's safe to say that the Welsh are more excited today than they have been in a long time—and the good news just keeps rolling in.

Playing in their first international soccer tournament since 1958, Wales has overcome the longest of odds to reach the semifinals of the prestigious European Championship. It is their first ever semifinal appearance in any soccer tournament.

For their part, Budweiser, with their "This Bud's for You" slogan, has decided to reach out to celebratory Welsh, offering them a free beer. Not just the team, or the fans in France, but the entire country.

After going online and filling out a quick form, if you live in Wales, Budweiser will give you a coupon valid for a range of products. You could get anything from a 22-ounce can for yourself to a six pack of 10-ounce bottles to share with your mates.

Budweiser announced the news on Twitter, hailing "the fans who always believed." One can only hope that their gesture of goodwill will bring good luck to the team. The offer is short-lived, however: it is only available today, July 6.

Wales will meet Portugal today in the Semifinal at 3 pm EST on ESPN.
