TryMyKitchen, ClassPass For Cooking Classes, Goes Global

TryMyKitchen, a ClassPass-like app for cooking classes instead of fitness classes, has gone global. The website, which is described as the first of its kind in a press release, connects users with chefs and cooking classes in one easy-to-use platform.

Founder Gabriele La Gona says, "We are very excited to take the leap and expand nationally within the UK over the next few months as well as into other global culinary capitals. TryMyKitchen makes cookery classes more exciting than you ever imagined; there are so many wonderful and creative ways to learn how to cook and we aim to provide exactly that to our customers."

Most of the classes are taught by professional chefs, but some are run by home cooks that teach their traditional family recipes. All chefs are vetted and verified by TryMyKitchen and consumer reviews also help to ensure the classes are up to par. All reviews are published on TryMyKitchen, and the company will get in touch with chefs that receive two poor reviews in a row in order to address any issues, La Gona tells The Daily Meal.

Classes include Beginner Cookery Classes, a Bread: Back to Basics class, and a Sweet Breads and Viennoiserie class.
