Brewlywed Ale

Each week, The Daily Meal gives you a round-up of new drinks to hit shelves. What we’re excited to try:

2013 Samuel Adams Brewlywed Ale: If you’re a huge Samuel Adams fan, you cannot miss the release of the Brewlywed Ale on Wednesday, June 26. For one day only, from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m., the Boston-based brewery will be selling 500 cases of this limited release pale golden ale. In a corked bottle, the ale is a complex brew, with fruity flavors, a taste of crisp wheat, and a little hop at the end. Brewed specially with weddings in mind, the beverage will be available for $14.99 per bottle, or purchased by the case of 12 (maximum of 3 cases per purchase). If you’re one of the first 20 people to show up in bridal attire, you’ll be moved immediately to the front of the line.

Club W's New Wine: Club W, an online community of wine enthusiasts, has launched a new line of wines called Wonderful Wine Co, in order to create products that are tailor-made to appeal to Club W’s members’ tastes. How did they do this? Through the extensive online data the wine club collected through its Palate Profile, the wine club made six wines for different palates. Four out of the six will be red wines: the Specialist (Cabernet - $19), #TBT (Pinot Noir - $19), MRLT (Merlot - $19), and Score (Red Blend - $13).  The last two white wines will be Geronimo (Chardonnay - $13) and Cosmopolitan (Sauvignon Blanc - $13).  Available solely through Club W, the bottles can be purchased individually, as a part of the subscription-based model, or collectively as the Wonderful Wine Co Starter Pack.

Von Trapp's Helles Lager: The launch party for Seattle’s VonTrapp’s Helles Lager will take place on Saturday, June 15, from 2 to 6 pm. Brewed by the only Germany brewery in the Rocky Mountains, Bayern Brewery, the lager will be served at the Seattle bier hall, and for $3 to $5, you can get yourself a half-liter. Pair the German lager with the Austrian musical entertainment for a classic Bavarian afternoon. Unable to make event on Saturday? No worries, Von Trapp’s is open weekdays from 4 p.m. to 2 a.m. and weekends from 12 p.m. to 2 a.m., with happy hour seven days a week.
