Tips

  • If you're getting Dim Sum, get there early. It gets really crowded after 11:30am
  • Free 2lb boiled shrimp when you spend $30 or more. After 9:30pm, everything is half price.
  • Come before 11, this place gets packed after 11.
  • The most authentic Yum Ca short of Hong Kong or San Francisco. It's Cantonese as Cantonese like it. I'm a native New Yorker and the Nom Wa Tea Parlor at 10 Doyers St. Only comes close. Fantastic.
  • Great seafood selection. Restaurant is up stairs nice view of Rowland Heights from the windows
  • Everything here is amazing and only 2.60 per plate! I love their shrimp chang fun, pai gu (pork ribs), har gow and shark fin soup. Even their chrysanthemum tea is delish! Service was fast & friendly!
  • This place still has the dim sum girls pushing the dim sum carts unlike the place next to ts emporium on nogales
  • Super crowded and its only 1030am! But they do move quickly.
  • Cheaper menu after 930pm! With free soup, rice and mango pudding dessert :) good portions too!
  • Order the Crispy Peking Duck with the mysterious brown duck sauce and white dough bread.
  • Cheap seafood for large parties
  • Not too sweet and very tasty coconut cream jelly with purple rice or taro
  • Average dim sum but the wait can be long. FYI the baked BBQ pork bun is really bad :(
  • Traditional carts but not food not as good as others
  • Every time we come down to LA, our cousins always bring us here since it's close by to their house. The food is okay here, had both dim sum and dinner here as well. Service is something else...
  • Late night specials are cheap. If u can resist to eat dinner at 9:30pm, good menu selection and free dishes
  • Yummy dimsum? Yes please! The place is not the cleanest but the food is pretty awesome.
  • Craving dim sum for breakfast at 8:30 am? This is your spot. New Capital definitely knows how to draw a crowd in the morning with carts after carts of dim sum goodness. Approx. for 2: $40 after tip.
  • Good dim sum overall( chicken feet, shrimp and mushroom, & others), ok service (wish I had some egg tarts though), go to lunch and skip dinner with seafood( fish are dead or dying in tanks)
  • Seafood spring rools salad and any kinds of prawns are great. The minced chicken corn soup tastes delicious.
