  • Head up to the roof garden for spectacular views of the city.
  • Massive treasure trove, don't expect to be able to do the whole thing in one afternoon. Most interesting for visitors is the Changing Nation exhibits.
  • Deposed,exiled and executed! Accused of murder! See Mary,Queen of Scots along with all the details of the period, if you're interested in a bit of Scottish history! What a life!
  • This museum is indeed a worthwhile place to visit even during a short stay in Edinburgh. The Tower restaurant on the top floor also serves nice pre fixe lunch.
