Foursquare Tips

  • Try the empanadas--they're great
  • The Grilled Skirt Steak Carne Asada Quesadilla is DELICIOUS!!! Also love the Queso Fundido. Yumm!
  • Must try: the sangrita, great drink
  • As for Alex he's handsome and a good waiter.
  • The sangrita is the official drink of tonight.
  • Wow!
  • Gulf shrimp tacos are delish and the cocktails are pretty creative. The salsa's nothing to write home about though.
  • Go to Mojave for brunch. Sit in the back patio and get plastered. Take note of the secret gate to the smoking lounge/driveway.
  • Unpretentious and honest food plus the opportunity to indulge in unlimited sangritas/margaritas/mimosas/etc. The blue crab eggs benedict was very tasty and Julia is the greatest waitress in Astoria!
  • Always been my favorite brunch spot in Astoria around Ditmars; if you order one of their omelets, take it with a side field greens salad- the secret citrus vinaigrette is extraordinarily delicious.
  • Order the shrimp tacos, they're ridiculous.
  • order a big bowl of guac, a margarita and the braised short ribs - then die happy
  • Sangaritas
  • Shrimp quesadilla is so good
  • If you haven't had a mojito made by mike, than you are a dumb dumb.
  • Try the calamari. With the spicy dipping sauce it's great
  • Take a straight shot of The Punisher and keep it down to earn a place on the Wall of Fame!
  • Sangarita!
  • Warning, the house-made habanero infused tequila shot is HOT! If you survive, its free. Follow it up with the Blue Corn Enchiladas.
  • Two dollar taco Tuesday
