Local Stores to Focus on Supporting At-Risk Youth and Families Across the U.S.
Seattle, WA (RestaurantNews.com) MOD Pizza, known for its superfast pizza and salads, as well as making a positive impact in the communities it serves, is teaming up with over 165 inspiring charities across the U.S. to support at-risk youth and families. MOD’s annual Spreading MODness campaign, celebrating “Gratitude with Attitude”, will take place November 22-27, 2016. During this time, the company will donate $1.00 from every MOD size pizza sold at every MOD location across the U.S. and U.K. This year, the company anticipates donations to exceed $250,000.
“At MOD, we’re committed to using our business as a platform to make a positive social impact,” says Ally Svenson, MOD co-founder. “This week is the time when we spotlight the ripple effect of ‘simply doing the right thing’- taking care of one another and our communities. By partnering with so many impactful charities at the local level, our MOD Squads will be helping to provide critical resources to at-risk individuals, including putting food in backpacks for kids, providing shelter for families, and helping individuals make fresh starts. Spreading MODness is about joining together to be a force for good.”
All of MOD’s 179 stores across the U.S. and U.K. will be Spreading MODness in Arizona, California, Colorado, Idaho, Illinois, Kentucky, Maryland, Michigan, Missouri, New Jersey, North Carolina, Ohio, Oregon, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Texas, Virginia, Washington and Wisconsin – and in the U.K. in Leeds, Brighton and Newcastle.
