  • Opened in 1999, the park is home to the Houston Astros. The ballpark is the first major sports facility to have a closed captioning board for the hearing impaired.
  • Richie Sexson, then of the Brewers, is the only player to have ever hit the flagpole in center. There used to be a visible mark from the ball until the 2011 season, when the pole was repainted.
  • Ive never been here, but I have had the pleasure of getting to know quite a few maids in my time. If my experience with them is any indication, this is bound to be a very fun place.
  • What do the 1860s, oranges and home runs have in common? Not much, other than the citrus-filled replica train that chugs down the track in left field every time an Astro goes yard.

  • Hit up the Kiolbassa Grand Slam Grillers stands for awesome sausages on poppy seed rolls. Order a spicy sausage w/ chili, cheese, onions & peppers, and wash it down with a Saint Arnold beer.
  • Get the outrageously expensive but delicious hot dogs. It's a ballpark! Must have parking permit to park close. Street parking about $10.
  • Get the footlong
  • This baseball park is gorgeous. Really nice place to take in a game.
  • You can find the chicken and waffle cone at Street Eats at ~Section 125
  • They may not always win, but if you're heading to an Astros game, try to make it on a Friday. 'Big and Bright Friday Night' at MMP boasts an amazing firework show after each game. Lots of fun!
  • Go to the concession stand and ask for tamales.
