  • Michigan Theater is a part of Sundance and during the festival, they'll hold special screenings of some of the best independent films. Keep a look out for them.
  • This glamorous performing arts theater has 2 major film festivals and a stacked schedule of unique and critically acclaimed films each year.
  • Gorgeous interior, great location and the films are always on point. Fantastic experience all around.
  • In the screening room, you can remove many of the wooden armrests by sliding them forward. You can then hit your friends with them, causing humor and pain.
  • You can become a member for 5$ and buy vino to go with your movie!

  • Price, acoustics and architecture are pretty flipping right on for a small artsy theatre. For $5 you can get a yearly membership, allowing you to buy wine & Bells beer!
  • If you love movies, consider getting a gold card. For $250 a year, you get free movies, popcorn, parking and support the theater.
  • Get a membership (they have a discounted one for students) then you can buy and drink beer here during movies.

  • The Michigan Theater is a treasure of Ann Arbor. Great environment to watch a movie. Only two screens and they mostly show independent movies but I am happy with that!
