Tips

  • Our favorites: Spicy pork meatballs & mozz on brioche, bratwurst balls topped w/ beer-infused mustard sauce, & Underballs' Whiskey Float w/ citrus liqueur, root beer, & house-made vanilla ice cream.
  • Try the Bratwurst Ball!
  • All of the servers are self-hating vegans, resigned to the hopelessness of their lives. Tip well.
  • Always get the special ball.
  • There is a secret speakeasy below the Meatball Shop
  • No matter how you choose to eat them, the meatballs are solid: juicy, well-seasoned, and tasty if not life-changing. Very good with cheap beer.
  • The gays are getting pushed out by hipster scum. But really really adorable hipster scum. Sit at the bar. Skip the wait. Handjobs downstairs. Xo
  • If you can sit at the bar. It's best. Good people and quick to get you your drink. Amazing food. ALWAYS ask about the special. They have some awesome concoctions. Plus the drinks are super good.
  • Get here early or be prepared to wait, even at the bar.
  • The Spicy pork meatballs is delicious
  • Don't drink too much fluid. They only have one restroom for the entire restaurant.
  • The polenta is like a fluffy cloud of corn. #yum
  • Check out the daily specials! And if nothing catches your eye, try the spicy pork or veggie balls! And don't forget a HUGE ice cream cookie sandwich for dessert.
  • Spicy pork w/ mushroom sauce is always a win in any form. I highly recommended the Everything but the Kitchen Sink salad, it's a little lighter than other options but is hearty & delicious
  • Spicy pork dumplings and cream sauce. The Thanksgiving balls on special should be tried. Drinks are great, esp. the fool aide and sangria. Give the Jell-O shot a try. Save room for an ice cream sand.
  • Mix and match the tops and bottoms of your ice cream sandwich. Because. You Can. Also: delicious.
  • try the market Jello Shot
  • The parm cream sauce is everything
  • If you can sit in the bar, do it. It will be easier and faster. Great food! And not expensive!
  • Popular spot, even on weekdays. Get here early, or enjoy the bars upstairs & downstairs.
