Foursquare Tips

  • The lobby is like sitting in a friend's living room. A roaring fire, a coffee or wine, and comfy seating. I hated to leave!!
  • Last time I walked down W 8th Street, this place was full of sneaker stores. Lobby bar has a lot of potential -- fireplace, cozy chairs. It's kind of a disaster if it's Saturday night and packed.
  • have a drink w/ friends by the fire & then head back 2 the restaurant & get the sunchokes, brussel sprouts & squash. <3!
  • Hunter's cocktail menu is bomb. Also ask Mike the bartender for his rendition of a Long Island Ice Tea.
  • Try and get a seat by the fire. It's a great place to spend spend a couple hours getting work done or just reading a great book!
  • Sit by the fire, order a coffee or a cocktail & write your novel. It's like the Ace Hotel but better.
  • Nice spot in the area for a fancy cocktail. The Rye Manhattan didn't disappoint (go for drinks, but skip din at Margaux).
  • , . 40" :-) . . 5-!
  • Excellent setting for some after-work drinks by a cozy fireplace (in winter), and a decent setting to pretend to work on your laptop during the day.
  • Front desk staff is not very friendly. You'd think that would be a requirement to work in this industry. Not impressed.
  • espresso bar uses Battenkill milk & has housemade almond milk!
  • Nice bar inside - very historic hotel.
  • Nice burger. Good looking crowd at this point.
  • Cozy fireplace
  • Even if you're not staying there, it is a nice quiet place for a rest stop and a drink in the West Village.
  • The chenin bland tastes like Brie and the chicken is great !
  • Cosy and comfy - with style. Love it.
  • Good for a drink or tea by the fire. Food improved with the newly launch menu.
  • Good spot to have a midsized group for drinks....maybe after work? Lobby is cozy. Food tho...nah
  • Cute hotel and great location. The restaurant is wonderful for a bite and conversation.
