Mario Testino Photographs The First Fabergé Ad Campaign In Years

Prepare for a surprise as you flip through the December issues of your favorite magazines, as legendary jewelers Fabergé have launched their first ad campaign in decades. The years spent away from the advert world gave them plenty of time to come up with a stunning concept, and the team in charge of this effort is a true who's who of media and fashion.

Rising Russian-Lithuanian model Bee Gee appears in the ads, wearing resplendent pieces from the Les Fabuleuses de Fabergé and Les Saisons Russes collections. The model was shot by famed fashion photographer Mario Testino.

The Fabergé house of jewelry was founded in 1842 in St. Petersburg, and developed a reputation as the country's finest, as they were commissioned to create their decorative eggs for Russian royalty beginning with Tsar Alexander III in 1885. Today, the Fabergé line consists of a product range as wide as the country's borders, highlighted by objets d'art, brooches, bracelets, and even timepieces for gentlemen.
