Tips

  • Try the grilled watermelon salad...new chef Thad Allen is enhancing the menu with some great new items and ideas!
  • Don't listen to nay sayers. Food great, they recently redid the menu to include sandwiches which are great! Service and cocktails were exceptional.
  • They've been trying to find the right food for this place for years. Now it's poboys, some Italian choices and what not. I love the layout, food is slow and management could be better.
  • Sazerac was great, probably even better than at Roosevelt hotel. Great live music too!
  • Shrimp and grits...yummy full of worchesteshire! Live music, no cover, dancing waiter...can't beat that!
  • Surprisingly easy to get a table just after Krewe du Vieux!
  • Terrible food, nonchalant service, very good drinks.
  • We've had six different entrees and three appetizers. All were excellent. And a great wine list too. Definitely recommend this place!
  • Drink with drew, he is the really the most interesting man in the universe!
  • An hour and a half in, no greeting from the server; took our own order and handed it in and 40 minutes later, I've wiped down my own table, served drinks and taken an order. Abysmal.
  • Don't add shrimp to your salad! $6 gets you six TINY shrimp. I'm talking maybe quarter sized with tail. A definate FAIL.
  • Ewww gross. Tip: cocktails are good but don't eat here.
  • Fresh fish! Many kinds of Mac -n- Cheese! Great bar! Solid musicians! The Brasserie is a jewel on the corner! Come sit outside with us!!
  • Buen lugar para conversar, buena comida y buena atencin, lastima que la carta de vinos sea pobre, especialmente en el vino por copas. Pocos vinos franceses
  • Classics done well - catfish, po boys, gumbo. Sit outside, have a bottle of wine, and watch what goes down on Frenchman.
  • Sweet spot for eclectic drinks and live music.
  • Ate here before, mostly French cuisine which is OK. Service was good though and it's located in a decent area.
  • The fish tacos were excellent & that's coming from someone that lives on the Gulf Coast & eats a lot of fish! The Marigny burger was huge & delicious as well!
  • A nice little spot that offers live music and sit-down NOLA food. For vegetarians, the street tacos are great!
  • Best Sazerac I've ever tasted!! We went back a second time for their Sazerac and excellent jazz.
