Foursquare Tips

  • The quiches are always good. The French Countryside Picnic is also delicious if you're looking for something a tad lighter.
  • All their food and bakery items are good but they excel at breakfast/brunch! Be prepared to wait on weekends, but it is worth it. I do ask that when busy, people show curtesy and leave when finished
  • Best Food on the North Side
  • Nice to have gluten-free bakery options. However, you never know if there's going to be any left if you show up in the afternoon.
  • Marzipan croissants are completely divine
  • Wonderful sticky buns...
  • Rustic tarts are delicious
  • the only place to get Challah Bread in Madison. Lunch on Friday is always a treat
  • always good soup and quiche
  • Such a cute place! A little off the beaten path so it's not as busy as some of the other breakfast spots in Madison, and the food is amazing! Can't wait to come back and try more goodies!
  • Great food and drinks. Plenty of seating, but I don't think they like you to hang out and work during their busy lunch hours. Only open till 4 or 5 PM.
  • Try ANY of the soups... so, so good.
  • Fantastic Philly Steak!
  • The padded sofa & arm chairs in the back by the fireplace on a snowy Tuesday morning can not be beat
  • Best Iced Mocha's Ever! Make sure to leave room for whip creme & sprinkle a flavorite (ex: cocoa powder) on top! Hooray!
  • Peanut butter chocolate cookies are to die for!
  • Don't bother going on Sunday morning unless you want to wait for almost an hour only to have your order "forgotten" >:(
  • Oatmeal pancakes: they may not cover the plate, but soak up enough syrup and you won't be able to finish :) Don't leave without a pastry; herbal iced tea is also yummy.
  • The wifi sucks.
  • Some of the best gluten free peanut butter cookies in the bakery
