Foursquare Tips

  • Hold the bottom
  • If you can get past the sassy ways of the owner, you're golden. The crab rangoon is amazing and so is the food! I think I've almost tried everything on their menu, I haven't been disappointed!
  • If you love chinese food, you will love this place! Sometimes service can be slow if they are busy.
  • Hot n Sour soup is the best I've ever had, must try!
  • Very rude customer service but the food is great!
  • They plan on serving dippin dots in the future... Just not right now.
  • Try the plain lo mein: delicious!
  • Everything is always good.
  • Best Chinese Food restaurant in St. Louis! Lobster in shrimp sauce; Mongolian Beef, sweet and sour pork, and crab Rangoon are tastiest!
  • Best Chinese food I've ever had. Ever. Tried finding something comparable in the two other cities I've lived in and never been able too.
  • Best Chinese food in the area. Super friendly service! Try the Phoenix and Dragon extra spicy :)
  • Hot & Sour soup...yum!
  • Best tip: Order carry-out and order it an hour before you're hungry. They are busy because the food is consistently fantastic. We've been eating their food since the 80's. Table service is slow & rude.
  • Try the general so chicken. So good or get the beef and broccoli extra spicy. Very good hot and sour soup.
  • Love this place. Have eaten here for years and years. Great service. Mostly order carry out. The food is always amazing!
  • Always stop in when I'm in town! Great food! Won Ton soup is amazing!
  • Hot braised pork is excellent. I've found a new favorite restaurant!!
  • The best hot and sour soup. Great restaurant.
  • I found a bug in my soup and everything was subpar. The sweet and sour sauce was divine but the chicken itself wasn't the best.
  • I moved to Pittsburgh a year ago and I have yet to find a Chinese restaurant that matches Mandarin Garden. I miss the place dearly and always stop in for the $5 lunch special when I'm visiting home.
