  • Did you know? This is one of four Macy's stores nationwide to offer a holiday season parade. The others include New York, Seattle and Portland. Pittsburgh's parade began in 1980 with Kaufmann's.
  • Did you know? The Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade is not the oldest. The Gimbels Thanksgiving Day Parade marched through Philadelphia in 1920, seven years before Macy's parade in New York City.

  • Try the TicToc
  • Laverne on the fourth floor is amazing! Best staff member ever at this store!
  • Skip downtown store for holidays. Kids Santa shop is disappointing and so are the holiday windows - a drunk bear with a boat Ralph Lauren you are out of touch with the Macy's shopper. Ack.

  • Nice but they close very early!
  • Unfortunately this location is going out of business. Sales are a bit stale, my visit was more because of the landmark status once being Kaufmanns flagship location.
  • On May 17-18, Macy's celebrated the 100th anniversary of the historic Kaufmann's Clock.
  • The junior department sucks and if you're in the men's suit section ask for Mel. Super helpful!!
  • 25% Off Sale 2morrow!!!
  • I got a steal today with 2 purses on clearance + coupon!!! :)
  • Stop by the Tic-Toc for some coffee and tea sandwiches, or even a burger before or after you shop.
  • The store is currently downsizing, so the signs by the elevators with what floors have what are incorrect. Be prepared to wander.
  • Get a shoe shine by Pete - he is the best!
