Foursquare Tips

  • Go to Mac McGee Irish Pub and enjoy the Authentic Experience.
  • CLAY is the most awesome bartender on Monday nights.. check him out and mark this tip as Done!
  • Lovely brunch! Best omelet I've had in a long time. <3
  • The food is fantastic. They even make make their own sausage for the bangers and mash. Cod cakes are also delicious and they have a great selection of beer on tap.
  • Sit at the bar on a Sunday afternoon and sip some beers
  • Go next door unless you want to fall asleep..
  • Total local, authentic spot on the south side of the square. Huge draft beer selection and traditional Irish pub food. Great fish & chips!
  • One of the best burgers in the city. And the chips are to die for. Make sure you request the curry chips to add a little kick to your potato.
  • Best Fish & Chips in Atlanta! Try them with a Fuller's London Pride.
  • What to eat: Think Irish pub grub: Scotch eggs, bangers and mash, corned beef and cabbage.
  • The best spot on the square for a quality pint. The food is excellent as well. The crowd is perhaps a little older and quieter than other nearby spots, and it's not a sports bar in any way. Hooray!
  • Incredible whisky selection. Very knowledgeable bartender can help you through the 200+ selection of bottles. Great beer too. Very local spot.
  • Very good corned beef and cabbage sandwich and entree. Fun Irish atmosphere but not to over the top for St. Pattys Day!
  • Shout out to Casey! One of the nicest bartenders I've ever come across.
  • The lamb sandwich was incredible. The fries were also some of the best I've had in a while.
  • Drop by on Sunday for a Bloody Mary Queen of Scots. It's a Bloody Mary made with Talisker scotch whiskey instead of vodka.
  • Try leg of lamb sandwich. It's excellent.
  • The fish and chip and Scotch egg were good and the bread pudding was to die for!
  • Whisky bread pudding - A must try!
  • Sat at the bar on a non busy Sunday afternoon, and never got greeted by the bartender. Probably won't be back
