Foursquare Tips

  • Take the tour if you are in town, baseball fan or not. $10 for an adult, lasts about 35 minutes.
  • Made in America: You can visit the museum and take a tour of the Louisville Slugger factory, which is still making all of its baseball bats in the U.S.
  • One of the best museums I have ever visited!! Got myself a personalized bat with "jswishdaman" on it & picked up mini bats for my niece & nephew too!! You must visit whenever you go visit Louisville!
  • Check out the huge bat........thats what she said
  • I highly recommend ordering your personalized bat BEFORE you even enter the museum. That way, you won't be stuck waiting over two hours when you are just ready to go. :)
  • "How do you find the Slugger Museum? Look for the 68,000-pound, six-story, steel-clad Louisville Slugger bat out front."
  • Museum Row on Main: Show your ticket stub from any of these attractions (Frazier International History Museum, Glassworks, Louisville Slugger Museum & Factory, Louisville Science Center, Kentucky Muse
  • When you're downtown look for the giant four-story+ bat resting against the outside of the building.
  • Allows visitors to watch as wooden bats are being turned.
  • Great place for a baseball fan to visit! No photos of bats being made allowed. Some great baseball artifacts here...like a mini hall of fame almost. Get a picture with the giant bat outside!
  • Show your active duty ID card and get in free! All hooah! Thanks Slugger!
  • Factory tour rocks!
  • Take the plunge, get a custom bat.
  • The guys making bats by hand are awesome, guy saw my white sox hat and made sure everyone knew he was making a Nellie Fox bat replica. Nice!
  • Take the tour. It offers a close-up view of the baseball bat manufacturing process.
  • Amazing history to learn for children and adults of all ages. Go online occassionally there are coupons and group deals.
  • The tour is really solid. Sean is a great tourguide. Get some bat nubs.
  • The tour was very cool! Love the smell of sawdust. Great information and fun presentation.
  • Don't even bother trying to bring the mini souvenir Louisville Slugger onto an airplane in your check-in luggage. As the tourguide mentions, the bat will be confiscated by TSA at Louisville airport.
  • Great tour and a free mini bat at the end
