Foursquare Tips

  • The staircase is cool and all, but it's not really miraculous.
  • The gift shop is bigger than the chapel... Just as God intended.
  • Beautiful architecture both inside and in the courtyard outside.
  • Schedule your destination wedding here, or just visit to check out the mysterious, "miraculous" spiral staircase. A beautiful, 18th C. French-style chapel in the midst of Santa Fe's adobe.
  • Not worth 3$ if you want to see it here it is.
  • The biggest tourist trap of a church I have ever seen.
  • Come see the staircase.
  • The bookstore and gift shop is great here.
  • Stop in and see the staircase and say "how'd they do that?"
  • Shares parking lot with city tours tram and if you take the tour you can park
  • $3 admission donations and assorted gift shops
  • Of course the amazing staircase is the star attraction. Beautiful, small little church worth seeing. :-)
  • Well worth the trip
  • Worth seeing but not so sure about the miracle of the staircase
  • Park at the Cathedral. The machine takes credit cards, and the parking rate is $2/hour. You will get a receipt to put on your dashboard. Loretto and San Miguel's are all within walking distance.
  • who built the staircase??
  • Pay a token amount to take self-guided tour, check Pasatiempo (in newspaper) for concerts (great acoustics) -- or best of all, schedule your destination wedding here!
  • The staircase was kind of cool to see but it was not worth paying $3 a person to look at a staircase for 3 minutes. If I would have known what it was before hand I would not have paid to see it.
  • It only cost $3 a person
  • Kind of a rip off. Costs money and you see a staircase. If you are really into religious tourism though this may be for you
