Tips

  • This food truck offers some of the most traditional Peruvian dishes. Try the Lomo Saltado, Anticuchos (beef heart skewers) and the Ceviche when available.
  • So f'ing good. 'Nuff said.
  • Llama's is a fairly new Peruvian trailer near Sixth Street in downtown Austin. If the aromas of cilantro lime rice aren't enough to convince you, they are happy to give you a free sample - just ask!
  • Austins source for authentic Peruvian food. Try the Lomo Saltado - stir fry beef tenderloin, vine ripened tomatoes, red onions, soy sauce, fried potatoes, garlic rice, green onions and cilantro
  • Beef hearts! <3
  • For real, it's worth the wait.
  • Pork belly sandwich with fries was amazing. Hearty and filling. The fries were delicious and fresh! Love this place.
  • Lomo saltado anyone for late night drunk food? Good little Peruvian spot for a snack.
  • Pork belly sandwich. Soooooo worth the wait. It is a long wait.
  • The veggie grill with plantain and ajipanca sauce is such a treat. Value for money. Try the jaritos with the food
  • Pretty good, although sold out quite often.... Beef heart as an appetizer, Pork Belly Sandwich plus the loaded fries!!!!!....
  • Really good food but the wait for your food is too fzcking long. 30 minutes to get food. Pass if you're ordering after hours on weekends. Boo
  • This is hands down the best drunk food you will have. Any of their pork belly options will leave you a happy kid.
  • Locals say to get the Arroz con Pollo or the chicken sandwich!
  • Wow! I went there with high expectations. Was shocked to see a truck with people that didn't look like they knew about Peruvian cuisine... but OMG! The Lomo Saltado was the BEST I've had in the USA
  • Best ceviche I have had in Austin. Authentic preparation.
  • The anticuchos were great however the quality of the food as a whole was too greasy and the papa a la huancaina definitely did not have enough of a good flavor. The cooking as a whole needs improvement
  • Ask for Ceviche!
  • Loved the lomo saltado
  • Went twice today and they took quite a while to prepare our orders. However, totally worth the wait! Some heads up on how long it will take would be appreciated...
