Learn How To Tattoo A Banana

Here's another artist who uses bananas' rapid oxidation abilities to create scenes: Phil Hensen, reportedly an "internationally recognized artist," is releasing a book called Tattoo a Banana: And Other Ways to Turn Anything and Everything Into Art June 5.

What does this mean? He pricks the surface of a banana in outlines in order to draw historic art pieces, logos, and more onto the surface of a banana.

The book itself provides stencils to follow, so nobody has to get too creative here, but it also promises ways to create toast art, marshmallow Statue of Liberties, and Mona Lisa sugar cookies. Watch him work his magic below (and try out his salesman techniques), then head over to Amazon to contemplate spending $10.98 plus shipping for a book. On the bright side, it seems like all the art ends up being edible. We still think these banana sculptures are much more impressive.
