  • Luckily, youve stumbled across a Philly classic thats under the tourist radar. If only the Vatican had such a place, the Borgia family would have surely escaped papal stresses and prying eyes here.
  • For dessert, be sure to order farm-fresh, sheep's milk cheeses and aged ricottas from Marcelli Formaggi in Abruzzi. Amazing!
  • During the week from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. get $3 craft beers, $4 well drinks, $5 house wines and sangrias, and $7 signature cocktails. The happy hour menu includes special plates from $6 to $10.
  • The fairly recent chef change brought Joe Cicala to the kitchen, and the menu has gone from excellent to superior in quality. [Eater 38 Member]
  • Le Virtu has consistently flown under the radar in Philly until this year. Try the rabbit-stuffed chocolate ravioli for a really crazy delicious ride.
  • Sorry but the service here is bad. Don't delete my tip again
  • Great Pasta! How can you choose between chef Luciana Spurios fresh fazzoletti handkerchiefs with rich duck ragu, the feathery crepes layered with itty-bitty meatballs, or the paper-thin pappardelle
  • One of the best pasta places in Philly. Get the Mugnaia and the Tazozelle as pastas, and don't even think about missing the burrata as the appetizer. Desserts are insane also, semifreddo especially.
  • The maccheroni alla mugnaia is a single noodlea six-foot-long hand-rolled ode to chewiness, dosed with garlic and chili flakes.
  • The food is outrageously good here! Check out their Facebook photos from their latest trip to the Abruzzi region of Italy!
  • I don't know what bad experience you've had but this place is the shizzznit. I've always left content and very full. Manga!!!
  • Horrible food, service and management.
  • Guitar pasta is the way to go.
  • Best meal I've had in a long time. Get the octopus, porchetta and stuffed olives
  • Get the stuffed olives.
  • Excellent food! We were a group of 8 and at first I thought the service was slow, but with the amount of food they give you, you need the time! Timballo di Scrippelle was fabulous!
  • Chicken and honey roasted potatoes are heaven sent
  • Chicken and honey roasted potatoes are heaven sent
  • One of many fantastic desserts on the menu at Le Virtuin Philadelphia, the Torta di Mandorle is a flourless citrus-almond cake with cinnamon-whipped sheeps milk ricotta and saffron honey.
  • House made pasta is excellent
