- This place is great for a date. I recommend the steak!!!
- Must Order: Meat! More specifically, beef. Try cuts like culotte (a.k.a. baseball steak), rib eye, or hanger steak. Throw in a side of Millennium Farms creamed corn for good measure.
- Fried chicken sandwiches on Tuesdays. Very, very delicious.
- If you are in the area for lunch, stop in for a sandwhich! They are amazing!
- Beet salad: great, mussels and frites: frickin amazing!
- Bone Marrow here is better than butter.
- The very best burger and fries in Portland. If you can settle on it (the menu is meaty but amazing) you'll be delighted. I crave it often.
- You can basically point at the menu with a blindfold on and you'll still walk away elated. MEAT SWEATS.

- Delicious. Had the chicken with polenta, Brussels sprouts, and pured cauliflower. Started with fleur de lis bread and devolved eggs - awesome. Best part? Side of Mac and cheese. WOW.

- Steak and frittes are a great deal and taste great. the sauce is like gravy. The Setter is a great summer drink.
