  • The Pisco Sour to end all pisco sours is here - blend of quebranta, lime juice, egg whites & regional bitters.
  • The ceviche here is like take a quick trip to Peru, have the same passion and blowing flavours of tradicional places in Lima but elevated to the top standards of world cuisine.
  • Try the cholopolitan, which is Maracuya with Pisco and Salmon Macho!! You won't regret it!!
  • The pisco sour is great, but the maracuya (passion fruit) sour is the best.
  • Try the Arroz con Pato (Yellow rice with Duck). Great texture on the rice and a perfectly cooked duck will make you come back for more.
  • The pisco sour is the Peruvian national cocktail, a sweet-sour mix of pisco, lime, simple syrup, egg white and bitters. La Mars smooth and balanced version is among the best in NY @TimeOutNewYork
  • The Ceviche Popular is amazing!
  • Chilcano to drink is the bomb. Have octopuss anticucho. The softest pulpo in my life.
  • The best cebiche was clasico, lomo saltado or Auntie Chocha was good, and the cholopolitan was a great starter drink - this place is a hit tho it's easily missed
  • El Lomo saltaedo vale la pena-sabroso
  • The plates at La Mar are beautiful to look at and the fluke ceviche and hamachi tiradito delicious. You should definitely have a cocktail while there!
  • Shame but Le Mar is closed in Flatiron. Head to San Francisco for this great restaurant.
  • Great Peruvian restaurant. Excellent service, too! All the dishes were delicious.
  • Top notch ceviche. Lucuma ice cream or lucuma with fudge desserts are great too.
  • I love gaston acurio's food but feel this is not the best setting for Peruvian. great try though! I could have definitely seen a smaller cevicheria in a less formal setting
  • Try the Pisco Punch Terrence makes the best drinks!!!
  • I like La Mar but when I went last night for drinks the cholopolitan didn'T take the same and the bartender didn't greet us or anything we had to tell them twice that we were ready to order drinks
  • Amazing seafood and yuca fries!
  • great food! great cebiches and tiraditos!
  • This is the best Preuvian Restaurant I've ever been and I'm from Chile, where we get many! You have to come!! Prices are pretty OK, the ceviche (any) is to die for. Lomo saltado is also amazing!!!
