Tips

  • Get the tender calamari, homemade pastas.
  • This old-world institution features starchy white napkins, waiters who still pull your chair out for you, red sauce that rivals any in the city, and the most delicious biscotti you'll ever encounter.
  • The Sena family's Old City institution is a bastion of classic luxury with a handful of great Italian specialties, from homemade pasta to rack of lamb.
  • This is my italian cousin. Best Italian foods
  • Old World charm with family traditions equal a comfortable & tasty Italian dining experience. A look at their wine list is a must!
  • Italian traditional cuisine at its finest. With 13,000 bottles of wine on the list and dashing decor, La Famiglia most certainly makes our 2011 list of Best Restaurants of Philly.
  • Stop by for the Nostalgia Lunch M-F...same menu, same prices from 30 year ago! going on thru 2011.
  • Primizie di Stagione is a nice salad to start your evening with. Veal chop is excellent. Salt baked Branzino (European Seabass) is filleted at your table. Check out the wine cellar in the basement.
  • wine for days
  • The Insalata con Arancia e Finacchio is a refreshing salad to start off your meal. The home made Gnocchi Gorgonzola is among the best I've had. For desert, the Napoleon is an excellent choice.
  • Pasta is wonderfully light. Desserts are amazing. We had 2 each because we couldn't decide! Finished the evening with limoncello. Perfect.
  • What is it about al fresco and Italian cuisine. Like bread and butter, right? There's only a couple of tables, so call ahead. Nicely shaded in the afternoon.
  • The good people here are so nice! Let us use their beautiful restroom!
  • The dress code is a little fancier, so this is a good place for a date night.
  • Over 450 wines to choose from! Transubstantiation anyone?
  • excellent wine list although i did not drink any. food was good.
