Tips

  • Not as stuffy or expensive as other steakhouses in the city, but just as delicious. Get the T-bone with sides of mashed potatoes and creamed spinach. Save room for their famous cheese cake.
  • The Village Voice voted this Best Restaurant Bar in our Best Of New York Poll!
  • T-bone steak is the way to go. Perfectly cooked and covered with crispy onion rings with creamed spinach and mashed potatoes.
  • The Knick has THE best Beet Salad I've ever tasted... and I order it in every restaurant I go to. Such a good restaurant to have in the neighborhood, always busy.
  • T-Bone. Trust me.
  • Great everything. Love the caviar pie, live music, and the late night bar crowd.
  • Try the T-Bone steak! It is the best steak I've eaten so far.
  • Endearing regular Jay was a great conversationalist. The steak was also great!
  • The specialty is the T-Bone, but you can order it as a Porterhouse for a little more filet mignon. Don't forget the skinny fried onion rings. Best steaks in NY and cool jazz performers Fri & Sat nite.
  • Try the T bone for two for an amazing steak dinner
  • T-bone: Medium rare, side of creamed spinach and that old New York feeling.
  • French onion soup, crab cakes.
  • Has an old New York vibe. Usually packed with locals but you can always get a table. Get the T-bone steak for one and share it.
  • Right in the heart of the NYU neighborhood. I recommend going there for lunch and getting a salad with a crab cake sandwich.
  • Still a classic neighborhood joint with a top notch steak and friendliest service.
  • The T-Bone...WOW!!
  • Seared tuna, onion soup, steak, brunch, cocktails at bar.
  • Perennial Village favorite. Old school. Old timers.
  • cornbread!
  • so nice! we must eat t-born here!
