Tips

  • $50 for the regular omakase, $68 for the "special" omakase. Can't beat that in terms of quality and value in SF.
  • Not cheap, but probably the best traditional sushi in SF. Super friendly Japanese proprietors. Go with the Omakase and order a glass of fantastic Esshu sake! You will have a great night out!
  • The Omakase would not let you down, and the cozy atmosphere makes you feel like a VIP. Definitely worth every penny but reserve ahead of time.

  • One of the best Japanese dining experiences in San Francisco
  • Best sushi in San Francisco and perhaps the planet.
  • A little view of a Tokyo sushi bar in San Francisco. Try the omakase which combines their great sushi with some warm plates as well.
  • You must have reservations to dine here! Plan ahead, it's worth it. Omakase is the best deal and worth every penny.
  • do the chef's special omakase
  • Great sushi but not cheap!
  • Very cozy atmosphere, but pretty expensive
  • Amazing food only paralleled by the warm couple that runs the establishment. Easily best Japanese in San Francisco & stands up well to what you would find in Japan. The special omakase is the truth!
  • Chef's Special Omakase
  • Charming little spot that offers an exceptional dinner menu. Really cozy, fits only 12 people (2 tables + bar). Perfect for a romantic date!
  • Sushi omakase, intimate experience, light flavors
  • Omakase is the way to go!

  • Omakase or bust..
  • Like everyone says, omakase is the way to go but order an extra side of toro sashimi. Incredibly fresh and well prepared here and at a better price point than other places offering toro.
