A twist on an old favorite, this cockatil created by Michael Lomonaco from Center Bar, NYC is perfect for summer. Light and classic, this is perfect for any summer get-together.

Ingredients
- 2 ounce bourbon
- 3 kingston sugar cubes - lemon
- 1 tablespoon water
- 1 small lemon and orange twist
- 1 tablespoon bitter walnut syrup
Directions
- Add small twists of lemon and orange, cubes, walnut syrup, bar spoon of water, dash of bitters and muddle well. Crush well so that you use the sugar as an abrasive against the citrus peels. Add bourbon, ice and stir. Garnish with half a walnut.
