Foursquare Tips

  • Try the Stuffed Jalapenos - Jalapenos halves stuffed with Spicy Tuna & grilled
  • Get the Kiji oyster shooter.
  • Kiji Style Crudos will knock your socks off.
  • Tedorigawa Yamahai
  • Upbeat music in a Japanese restaurant is NEVER a good sign. The hostess and waiter kept brushing up against us, the food was over seasoned, you can barely taste the fish. Will not be coming back.
  • Try the Veggie Dragon Roll
  • Lanterrrrrrrrn rollll!!! Just do it.
  • Ask for the fresh wasabi!
  • Get the horse mackerel if it's on the menu; well-prepared raw mackerel that is later supplemented with the very delicious and crunchy cooked carcass.
  • Legit sushi and sashimi place in the mission. The only one actually. Go for the specials and nigiri.
  • Sushi are amazing , fresh fish from Japan
  • Located on the quieter side of Mission, Kiji offers an expansive sake menu that pairs well with their creative rolls. Sit at the bar, watch chef at work, and enjoy your romantically lit fish.
  • Kaji Cucumber roll is real yum
  • Great sake list but salads were overpriced and underwhelming. Sushi was fresh and good quality. Rolls are kinda overpriced.
  • Start w/ a Kiji Shooter or Kiji Tasting Spoons. All of the fish is fresh and delicious -- I love the chirashi box, which allows you to sample several kinds.
  • Dat mackerel with truffle oil. Dat uni with egg & ikura. Dat Real Wasabi.
  • Ate various sushi and sashimi. All was great!
  • Authentic sushis for those looking for creative dishes. Very close to Bart station.
  • Amazing sashimi!
  • The uni here is incredible!
