  • Can't go wrong with a Guinness and a Foley burger! Throw in some tater tots and you gotta party.
  • Be polite to everyone who works here.

  • There are no seats at the bar. You stand, put your foot up on the railing,and chill. That's how it goes at Foley's. Get your whiskey and knock it backfast.

  • Best bar food, EVER! Everything tastes fresh and homemade.
  • Their truffle Parmesan fries are PHENOMENAL. Every. Single. One. was crispy (i.e., there wasn't a single disappointing, soggy one) and the rosemary was the perfect added touch.
  • Nachos with chili and chicken are best in the city.
  • Come late, leave late... Family owned and run.
  • Do whatever you want here, but remember: you're three blocks south of the Boston Herald's headquarters.

  • Drink on the right side for a real old school session (no stools at the bar).Get grub on the left side (fish&chips, mac&cheese, the curry sauce, and smoked salmon plate are standouts).
