  • The Hakata Tonkotsu is cooked with pork bones in the broth 'til they release their marrow, giving it a "creamy consistency that rivals milk, melted butter, or gravy." In other words: It's delicious.
  • Start your meal off with the pork buns, and then finish it off with the Spicy Tonkotsu ramen - you won't regret it!
  • In accordance with the restaurants namejin is the kanji character for benevolenceowners Isan Chang and Jenny Ko contribute to charities supporting community-revitalization projects.
  • Kara-age is slamming!
  • Jin is actually right next to the 125th Street station on the 1 train, and its definitely worth the trip uptown. Just as good as Ippudo.
  • The pork buns aren't all that but the spicy ramen is good and the pork is super tender. Um... Avoid the girl server. She seems like she hates her job :P
  • Spicy tonkatsu is where it's at!
  • Haunted by their spicy tonkatsu ramen, I'm no longer dissuaded by the Papyrus-set menu. Dine with a partner, split this and hiyashi chuka. Kara-age is perfect with some lemon and togarashi.
  • Junot Daz: "As close as Uptown gets to Ippudo."
  • Fantastic broth, excellent noodles, friendly service, and prices about 1/3 lower than any of its closest competitors, not to mention the lack of an hour-long wait to get in (for now)?
  • A solid choice near Columbia without the long wait typical at Totto or Ippudo
  • The kani salad is yummy!
  • Spicy tonkatsu ramen amazing
  • Try the tonkotsu with extra pork its delicious! Everything is good!
  • Yes, the Spicy Tonkotsu ramen is redonk. But, Jin has the BEST drink special in Morningside. A pitcher of delicious soju sangria for $24? That's about $3 each for 7-8 refreshing cocktails.
  • Best pork buns I've ever had. Yes. Best ever. Better than anything David Chang has done. Worth the trip alone.
  • Try the Steamed Pork Buns
  • I had a meeting with the managers I feel special lol
  • Epic ramen spot! The tonkatsu is a favorite, extra pork and egg
  • Their Ramen is delicious, but their rice bowls are my favorite. Got the fresh salmon one and it was down right amazing, hooked me right away! I am now a loyal Jin customer!
