Foursquare Tips

  • To enjoy their outstanding lobster roll served with slaw and fries takes a bit of planningit's offered only at lunch on Friday and Saturday. Trust us, it's worth the wait...
  • The restaurant has items that conjure up South with a twist, deviled eggs & pork belly w/ clams & all kinds of poultry: fried chicken, hot chicken oysters, chicken liver mousse, ect. [Eater 38 Member]
  • Try the truffle-parmesan fries. Great crispy fries with a soft interior dressed with true white truffle oil and parmesan shavings, it doesnt get much better than that
  • JCT Kitchen's Ford Fry has been a longtime fixture on Atlanta's culinary scene, and his innovations have done much to bring modern Southern cuisine to the attention of the nation as a whole.
  • Have to try the deviled eggs (even if you don't normally like deviled eggs)
  • The fried chicken is great, but the steak and potatoes is a wonderful alternative in the event they're out, which they often are.
  • The deviled eggs make me weep with happiness.
  • Angry mussels are amazing! Highly recommend!!
  • Janet is one of the best servers in the city. Go see her at the rooftop bar!
  • Best mussels, french fries, burgers, and fried chicken in Atlanta.
  • Everything here is amazing. The fried chicken always sells out early. My favorite place in Atlanta by far! Bar upstairs has STRONG drinks and live music!
  • The oysters, salmon and wine, divine.
  • Head over to this West Side favorite and start upstairs at the bar for cocktails before heading indoors for dinner.
  • One dish not to miss: The birthday cake ice cream tastes true and delicious.
  • The mussels were amazing. Probably my most favorite food I've ever eaten. Seriously.
  • The grilled romain salad is worth a try!
  • JCT. Kitchen has won many accolades for its fried chicken. It's sure to note on the menu that it's only available in limited quantities. JCT uses Springer Mountain Farms chicken.
  • Standouts include fried oysters over creamed spinach and killer desserts such as the dreamy tapioca pudding. Gracious service and a good wine program make up for the occasional misstep in the kitchen.
  • Live music and drink specials Thursday nights on the terrace.
  • Perfect if you want to sit outside. They have tons of outdoor space upstairs.
