Foursquare Tips

  • Enjoy the "nine spice" lamb chop w/ saffron & fregola while downing cocktails like the gin/kaffir lime/celery bitters Thornybush.
  • JBird started as a hidden cocktail den in Midtown and has evolved into a proper Upper East Side destination. Expect cocktail classics including fizzes, sours, and all the old favorites.
  • Standout drinks are the unusual Honey-Nut Old Fashioned and the Hudson Breeze Fizz, a gin and brandy drink balanced with baked apple foam.
  • Finish their bone marrow app and they'll pour a shot of tequila (preferably a Bordeaux-cask-aged one, according to them) down the "bone channel" and into your gullet.
  • Jbird, I love your warm nuts.
  • Pepino is amazing.
  • Come in today and enjoy our Flying Pigs Farm Pork Sliders paired with one of our signature Cocktails
  • This isn't a first date place guys. Quit showing off how huge your trust funds are and appreciate the craft and artistry of each individual cocktail. They have Yamasaki whiskey here, drink it proudly.
  • New cocktail menu! I recommend the Peppino if you like spicy and cucumber.
  • Honey nut old fashioned ftw. Not for the weak. It's your 90 year old grandmother who drinks whiskey everyday type joint.
  • If you're with the right people this place will grow on you... As long as someone else is picking up the tab. Otherwise you're F'd.
  • Their cocktails are def worth the trip! Downtown ambience with uptown prices
  • Drink classy, order an Old Fashioned. You won't be disappointed.
  • Get the Honey-Nut Old Fashioned before you try anything else. Then, try everything else.
  • Honey nut old fashioned and good tunes. Skip the popcorn.
  • Amazing food and the bar tenders are artists!
  • the sliders are sooooooo amazing.
  • Cocktails are fantastic
  • Great date location, loved the "Pear-ot" cocktail, the fried chicken was awesome.
  • Don't come here to eat. We had 4 dishes and one we had to return. The others we had a few bites and wrapped the rest for the dog. Horrible. Drinks are good though.
