JBF To Launch Live Kitchen Cam; First Up: Daniel Boulud

Anyone who is curious about the culinary goings-on of the James Beard Foundation will soon be able to witness the frenzy behind more than 200 annual dinners given at the James Beard House.

On Monday, March 31st, the foundation will launch the JBF Kitchen Cam, a three-angle, live camera feed of the James Beard House's kitchen. The first chef to be featured on the JBF Kitchen Cam will be Daniel Boulud, as he and his team prepare for the multiple-course "Dinner with Daniel," in honor of his latest cookbook and memoir, DANIEL: My French Cuisine.

In addition, chef Boulud will be participating on a live Twitter chat on Thursday, March 27th at 11:00 a.m. EST. If you'd like to join in the conversation, use the hashtag #JBFChat and follow @BeardFoundation and @DanielBoulud.

The JBF Kitchen Cam is expected to run during most James Beard House Events, including "Coast-to-Coast Cool" with Jamie Bissonnette and Jenn Louis on April 3rd; the Songkran Thai New Year Celebration with Thai chefs Pichet Ong, Jet Tila, and Hong Thaimee on April 11th, and others.
