The James Eatery owners offering in-home services following closure of Palmer restaurant
The James Eatery has closed in Palmer Township.
The owners of the modern American restaurant, which opened in April 2016 at 190 S. Greenwood Ave., are extending their services for in-home get-togethers and other private parties as they seek a new brick-and-mortar location.
"We would like to sincerely thank everyone for all of your support and patronage!" a July 27 post on the business' Facebook page reads. "We are currently searching for a location that will allow us to fully bring you our culinary vision."
The restaurant was run by executive chef Corey J. Kunsman and his girlfriend, Becky Lukas, who served as general manager.
The couple decided to name the restaurant after a common family moniker: James is Kunsman's middle name and the name of his late grandfather, as well as the first name of Lukas' father and the middle name of her brother.
Fans can stay up to date on Kunsman and Lukas' plans online on the business' Facebook page and/or its website, TheJamesEatery.com. To book a private party, e-mail TheJamesEatery@gmail.com.
