With three San Diego locations (in Golden Hill, Little Italy, and North Park), Influx Café is a great spot for coffee as well as breakfast items, pastries, sandwiches, and salads.

The space is relaxed and inviting, and organic drip coffee is available in four varieties: house, African, South American, and decaf. Cold brew iced coffee is available along with traditional iced coffee, in a wide variety of styles including hammerhead, breve, Mexican mocha, Vietnamese coffee, and vanilla latte.

Fresh-baked croissants and bagels are available plain or as sandwiches, and other breakfast items include oatmeal, granola, and a gluten-free bowl with scrambled eggs, spinach, and brown rice. There are also salads including Spinach (feta, tomato, red onion, toasted walnuts, and bacon on spinach with balsamic vinaigrette), Kale (kale, shaved Parmesan, toasted pumpkin seeds, olive oil, lemon); and Arugula (blue cheese, apples, grapes, and toasted walnuts on arugula). There’s also a wide variety of sandwiches, including ones with curried tofu, sliced red onion, tomato, arugula, and veganaise; oven-roasted turkey breast, house pesto, Jack cheese, onion, tomato, mixed greens, and mayo; and black forest ham, pineapple spread, onion, tomato, mixed greens, and mayo. All sandwiches are available on a fresh baked white roll, wheat roll, or focaccia.

Tips

  • Coffee, staff, food, ambience, wifi, location.. It's just a great spot in Little Italy. Scramble bagels and the healthy yogurt bowl are my favs.
  • Try the blood orange iced tea mixed with the mint hibiscus iced tea!
  • Hipster nonsense.
  • Kombucha here!!
  • Best amaricano in sd.
  • I recommend a Croissant Melt with brie, tomato and basil with a Chai Latte. It was a nice breakfast! Very yummy!
  • Easily my top 5 for best Blueberry Muffins in San Diego (and trust me, I've had a lot!)
  • They haven't been making cupcakes lately. WTF?!
  • Pretensious attitudes abound. Food is worth the snobbery.
  • I love the free wifi and consistent flow of traffic for ample and satisfying people watching. The service is friendly and the menu is just robust enough for lunch or a snack.
  • This is the Original Influx location :) Get any of the espressos!
  • Get one of their housemade, sometimes vegan cupcakes.
  • Mexican Mocha All The Way.
  • Get a caramel soy latte--you'll be glad you did!
  • The bagel scramble on everything bagel and a latte. Perfect start to any day.
  • Iced Mexican mocha!!!! Yeyaaa
  • Have the goat cheese salad. It is WINNING!
  • The B.C.T. is $$$!
  • My daily breakfast croissant is heavenly with an ice coffee
  • Hey people w lap tops: go home.
