Foursquare Tips

  • Board games and darts make for a great night at the bar! My only complaint is the smokers at the bar after 11pm!
  • Music Trivia on Wednesday...a lot of fun!
  • Not just billiards! Voted Best Trivia Night in Creative Loafing's 2009 Best of ATL Reader's Choice poll. General trivia on Tues, music trivia Wed, movie trivia Thurs. Or play SNES or Connect Four!
  • Two words: Fried Twinkie.
  • Located directly above the Highlander, the Independent has board games aplenty, dartboards, and a room full of charge-by-the-hour regulation-size pool tables. The menu includes typical bar fare.
  • One of my favorite places to shoot pool. Oh, and the drinks are awesome!
  • Wednesday night music trivia @ 9.
  • This place totally has grown on me. Many reasons. (1) The smoke situation isn't as intense as the Highlander's. (2) Lots of pool tables. (3) The $5 PB&J deal (Pabst Blue + Jameson) is unbelievable.
  • The best place in Midtown for late-night billiards and beer. You may have to wait for a free table though, especially on the weekends.
  • Trivia is awesome...if you're searching for a healthy option to relieve the guilt of a rad pint, don't. The salad is crap. Dry chicken and iffy (but delightfully non-iceburg) lettuce. Live in guilt <3
  • Great vibes*
  • Don't forget to get your 40 of high life!
  • This is a great BAR with pool tables, darts, and board games!
  • 3 dollar jager on monday! Terrible chips and salsa, though.
  • Fried zucchini is the best in atl!
  • Thursday night, movie trivia, when in doubt write Ryan Renolds
  • Holy crap! You should ask for the Italian Sausage Sandwich covered in tasty grilled onions. It's like meat heaven.
  • If you want a juicy chili dog, ask for Greg...
  • Sunday night, poker @ 6 PM.
  • tuesday nights: $2 shots of Jameson & $2 high life. woooo!
