Tips
- Place is overrated. Staff is nice, but food is ok. Everything has so much salt in it! Would not be returning for sure.
- A Perfect italian restaurant in NY. Good service and good food. The place isn't very big though.
- Do get the 2005 Capichera Assaje by the glass, even though its a little expensive. It is a very nice wine.
- Seafood risotto, branzino, great wine list and outstanding service with pleasant individuals.
- Absolutely superb for a fancy lunch. Divine house-made pastas. Cozy, teeny outdoor space.
- Everything!
- Good Italian fare. Pricey.. But convenient to MOMA
- Great pasta and wine selection
- The rack of lamb is fantastic as is the Neapolitan Meatloaf. Great wine list as well!
- All time fave. Crispy salad. Spaghetti pomodoro. Happiness.
- the bar. the lasagna with the tiny meatballs.
- Sit at the cozy bar and drink cocktails and get apps (or apps and dessert) if you're not out for the whole shabang! It's very inviting!
- Lasagna was fantastic. Great lunch spot before a meeting.
- Ok food, good service.
- Loves the sole and the risotto. Service was first rate, needed to get to the theatre and the accommodated us.
- Mozzarella in carozza is one of the citys great, stealth grilled cheese sandwiches, a blissful blur of buffalo mozzarella and anchovies not deep-fried, but pan-sauteed on crunchy country bread.
- really very good with an excellent value wine list. The cocktails are great and the wines are impressive
- service was very good
- food was average plus
- I always like Il Gattopardo, they just moved down the block in a beautiful location, the food and the service impeccable and really good!
