Foursquare Tips

  • Featured in LA Weekly's 99 Essential Restaurants!
  • The prosciutto-stuffed croissants & flaky bacon-maple biscuits are sublime! It gets crowded on Sunday mornings so go early! Featured at PLATE LA Weekly's 5th Annual Food & Wine Event March 3rd, 2013!
  • I crave her crostata filled with blackberries that have melted halfway to jam, snug in a roughly shaped crust that melts in the mouth.
  • Many love Fridays, when the owners, who also own nearby wine bar/restaurant Rustic Canyon, serve fried Jidori chicken.
  • Zoe Nathan & Josh Loeb have amazing pedigrees (she hails from Tartine Bakery, he runs Rustic Canyon Wine Bar and Seasonal Kitchen) and it shows in their excellent artisan breads and incredible sweets.
  • Perpetually crowded for its maple-bacon biscuits, Valrhona chocolatedipped doughnuts, and egg sandwiches stuffed with bacon, Gruyere, & tangy aioli. More places to eat like a local tandl.me/12ufz7c
  • Get there early to grab a seat and don't leave without getting a salted caramel cookie.
  • Truly the best pastries this side of France. Sometimes I weep when I eat here...
  • For turkey lovers , go for roasted turkey sandwich .. Great service .. Average coffee .. Crowded with no parking .. Recommended for a brunch ..
  • Baked goods are phenomenal here, but that Bacon Cheddar Biscuit BAFFLES ME! It's crumbly and dry looking, but when you stick it in your MOUTH it's so good, more moist than you'd expect & SO addictive!
  • Rahm Fama, host of Meat & Potatoes, finds Huckleberry, where they are serving up a savory brisket hash and sweet maple bacon biscuits. Find more tips at Food Network Local.
  • Get the bacon maple scones...amazeballs! Skip the crazy, neverending line and just phone in your order to go.
  • If you can get past the tempting sweets, go savory with brisket hash, breakfast sandwich or green eggs and ham.
  • The fried egg sandwich was just ok, but they were out of country bread which it normally comes on. Chai latte had too much of an anise flavor... Literally not my cup of tea. Also weird restroom doors!
  • Huckleberry's bread pudding is phenomenal. Bread pieces + chocolate + banana slices + walnuts = the best treat in the world.
  • Try the quinoa with eggs butternut squash and kale and farmers market veg!
  • This place pisses me off.
  • Try the fried egg sandwich
  • Ordered the BLTA. Holy God, was it amazing!!
  • The blueberry corn cake is awesome!
