The Hot Cubano


Savor Dia de los Muertos by sipping on this traditional shot of strong Cuban espresso, which is mixed with dark rum and coffee liqueur and topped with whipped cream.


  • 1 1/2 Ounce dark rum
  • 1/2 Ounce coffee liqueur

  • 1 shot strong Cuban espresso
  • Whipped cream
  • Powdered or shaved chocolate
  • Cinnamon


Pour the dark rum and coffee liqueur into a coffee glass or mug. Fill with strong Cuban espresso.

Top off with a dollop of whipped cream and garnish with a sprinkle of cinnamon and powered/shaved chocolate.
